Join Angie this Summer on Lacamas Lake as you explore your practice in a new and different way on a stand-up paddleboard! Practicing yoga on a surface that is moving engages the core muscles and strengthens other muscles which wouldn't otherwise be used in earth-bound practice. SUP yoga also requires intense focus because transitioning between poses requires concentration to keep the board steady. Class will incorporate hatha and vinyasa poses on a 10 to 12-foot paddleboard.
Registration includes board rental, if you have your own, please pay for "BYOB" rate. Students are required to fill out Sweetwater SUP Rentals Waiver prior to class. Students under 18 must have a signed waiver from a parent to rent a board. Please arrive 15min. early to check in and complete required paperwork.
